Email Fraud Part 1

This assignment was about Nigerian email fraud. One of the requirements was to make a set of three panels that showed a sequence of events. Apart from that, we had free reign over how we were to depict the scam.
I'm really happy with the way that this assignment turned out - especially with the way the three look as a set.

Recipe version 2

I got some feedback on this piece, so here is the updated version. I also adjusted the scanner settings, which means that this picture is closer to the true colour of the painting.

Recipe for a Pest-Free Home

This is an assignment where we had free reign to make a recipe for anything. I chose a recipe for a Pest-Free Home.

Energy Drink

In this assignment I had to create a label for an energy drink that caters to young adults who enjoy the city's nightlife.
There are a lot of elements that I like about it, like the hair, the offset of the buildings and the shape of the face, but I feel like it could use a little more drama. Maybe the hair should have multiple colours? Maybe there should be more people? Maybe the lighting should fizzle out towards edges? What do you think?

The New Yorker part 2

Here is the second part to the previous post. I actually like the caterpillar better than the butterfly (which is in the previous post). If you look closely you can see how the paint did some really beautiful things in the leaf and around the spots on the caterpillar's back.

The New Yorker

The spec for this assignment I had to design a postcard for The New Yorker to send to their clients. I used yupo paper for this assignment, and I really like the effect it created.
